Wrap Paper Types

Art paper offers smooth printing surfaces. Specialty paper adds texture and premium appearance. Kraft paper (brown or white) provides a natural look.
Forming and Scoring Note
When wrap paper becomes heavier, especially above 157 gsm, forming becomes less forgiving.
In many rigid box projects:
- the greyboard may require V-grooving to create precise folding geometry
- the wrap paper may require scoring or creasing to reduce cracking or corner bulging
Additional note: Kraft paper usually works better with coating instead of lamination because of its rougher surface texture.
